Privacy
Formato has no accounts and sets no cookies. This page lists everything that is collected, why, and who handles it.
What is collected
- Page visits, through Vercel Web Analytics: the page, the referring site, your country and device type, counted in aggregate. No cookies and no cross-site tracking; query strings are removed before anything is recorded.
- Purchases, through Stripe: your name, email, payment details and country, so Stripe can take the payment, prevent fraud and send your receipt. Formato never sees your card number.
- The waitlist, only if you join it: your email address, the pack you asked about and the site's language, stored by Resend so we can email you once when the pack is out.
- Server logs, kept briefly by Vercel to run and protect the site.
Why, and on what basis
Purchases are processed to perform the contract you enter when you buy. Analytics and logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site. The waitlist is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.
Who processes it
Vercel Inc. (hosting and analytics), Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and its affiliates (payments), and Resend (email). Some of them process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion, and you can object to its use. Write to us. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority; in Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
